Errors with the finale!

Something has been bugging me in comments. I apologize if this has been brought up before. Avatar, while animated, is not an "anime." While people define "anime" differently, it usually implies that it was written/created in Japan.

One of the things I really like about Avatar is that it is a well-animated American show! I do watch a lot of anime, but I don't think people should call Avatar an anime. That is all! :D

Look, I understand everyone is happy to see the final episode. Hey, I've seen it, great finale, HOWEVER there are a lot of people who haven't seen it yet.

So be a fan and lj-cut your post if they are remotely related to the final episode.

When the OWL mentioned having an honor only once every so often and then one of them says, “It’s an honor to release you.” Or something like that. What in the world were they talking about? I’m just wondering.

Why everyone should read this: This is my recent favorite Trio fic, the one I've been shoving down everyone's throats reccing non-stop for the last couple of weeks, and I thought it only fit to share it here too.

From the summary: Harry knows that, for the sake of friendship, he should resist this Mr and Mrs Weasley, but when they decide to make a meal of him one night, how is he supposed to say no?

The sex is hot, but what I love most about this story is how mature it is. It feels like it's written by an adult, about adults. Harry in particular is wonderful here, and there is a grittiness to his characterization that I really enjoyed.

And did I mention that the sex is hot?

Sure, we all have our disccussion posts on our respective communities, but I'd like to offer up my own review/comments/discussion up for everyone to read :3 Because I do ask a few questions about the loose ends that don't get tied up at the end of the finale.


SPOILERS (duh) for parts 1-4 of Sozin's Comet. Expect cursing, slight bashing (of characters and ships, but nothing -hardcore-), and more! H E R E .

Now that the finale is over, I will say it's a shame to see the ending of a phenomenal show. Don't worry this post has nothing to do with giving away any spoilers.

But now looking back I wonder why in the world did Nickelodeon decide to have Avatar week of all weeks this week and the finale on the same weekend of the box hit "The Dark Knight?" I changed my schedule around to make sure I saw both movies today, but I can't imagine with the movie now in theaters that ratings for the finale are all that good besides us diehard fans. Nickelodeon as a whole in my opinion really dropped the ball in promoting this show the way it should have from the very start, whether delaying this season until now or even failing to mention when new episodes are released.

In the end, I just don't know what the executives were thinking

Okay, aside from the EPIC of the finale, did anyone else think the writers gave a nod to my childhood cartoons (CAPTAIN PLANET) when he went on his "TEAM AVATAR IS BACK" speech?

I thought of it immediately and thought it was epically hilarious.
